AMOI first sake is brewed in the town of Shiwa, Iwate Japan where Tsukinowa Sake brewery is located. This region is well-known for its glutinous rice production, and the variety ‘Himenomochi’ is chosen the best for sake brewing.
Junmai-shu made from 100% glutinous rice has a rich refreshing taste. There are only a few sake breweries in Japan that use 100% glutinous rice, including the koji.
We recommend to drink this Mochigome sake on the rocks or chilled.
